I am originally from New Jersey (south Jersey) and I moved to south Florida in 1996. I went to Loyola college in Baltimore, Maryland, graduating in 1989. After college I went on to Optometry school at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) then completed my post-doctoral residency at Northeastern State University (NSU) in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 1996. Oklahoma is the only state in the country that licenses Optometrists to perform laser surgery and to prescribe oral medications (including narcotics). Here I received intense training in full-scope medical Optometry with advanced training in laser sugery to the front of the eye. I opened the first Visionary Eyecare next to Lenscrafters in Pembroke Pines in 1997, then my second office next to Lenscrafters in Sunrise/Sawgrass Mall in 2001, then my third office next to Pearle Vision in Davie in 2007.
My commitment is to provide quality, caring and excellence in optometric care to the Broward County residents. I am blessed to have an amazing, highly-skilled and friendly group of doctors and staff that I work with, as well as, three state-state-of-the-art offices that provide cutting edge technology all of your eye care needs!

| Dr Anna-Kay Tenn O.D. | | | | 
I am originally from Kingston, Jamaica, but was raised in Pembroke Pines, Florida. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 2001(Go Gators!), then went on to receive a Doctorate of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2006. I have been a part of the Visionary Eye Care family since 1998. First, I was a patient of Dr. Bearden’s. Then, while deciding what area of the medical profession I wanted to pursue, I was able to shadow her and chose to become an Optometric Physician. While attending Optometry school at NSU, I worked as an Optometric technician at the practice, and now have become one of the Doctors at Visionary Eye Care providing exceptional care to the community.

| Dr Emily McCulloh O.D. | | | |  I grew up in southern Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma, where I graduated with a B.S. in Science Education in 2001. I relocated to South Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University and obtained my doctorate as an optometric physician in 2006. During my final year in optometry school, I had the opportunity to study and work at the Tianjin Eye Hospital in Tianjin, China. This experience was definitely a highlight of optometry school! I joined the Visionary Eyecare family in August of 2006 and look forward to continuing to provide my patients with exceptional eyecare. I recently got married in the fall of 2008 in good ol' Oklahoma!!

| Dr Alyx Lin O.D. | | | |  I was "Made in Taiwan" but grew up in the U.S. I received my B.S. from Cornell (Big Red) University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. I graduated from Indiana (Big Red Hoosiers) University's School of Optometry. Since I graduated in 1993, I stay abreast of optometry's expanding scope by being a clinical examiner. I help evaluate the clinical skills of newly graduated optometrists. I am happy to confirm the overall high quality of our new graduates
